Water typically has no taste. One can say it tastes “refreshing” or “smooth” or add any other adjectives to describe the taste of water, but water typically has no taste or smell. Then there are time where your water is off and may have a foul smell or taste to it. In this case, certain bacteria, minerals, gasses, contaminants, or a plumbing issue may be to blame.
